My name is Marianna Batkin, and I am a Va Va Zoom Studio newborn, maternity, portrait, and boudoir photographer based in Coquitlam, BC. I offer a full portrait experience that includes consultation, styling, photoshoot, and production of final fine art archival quality artwork. My images have won several international awards and recognitions, and I am a member of Professional Photographers of Canada. All sessions are artistically designed and photographed by me in my Coquitlam studio, conveniently located in close proximity to HWY 1, with a short commute from Vancouver, Surrey, or Langley. MY STORY
I am a wife to a wonderful man and a mother of two adorable boys. My family is my world, and I would not have it any other way. My professional education and background are in creative advertising and graphic design, and photography has always been a big part of my professional life. With over 20 years of experience, I worked as a graphic designer and art director for several advertising agencies and even had my own successful marketing, graphic design, and print production business. When my kids were born, I rediscovered my passion for portrait photography and turned it into a full-time career. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, travel, garden, work out, and take our dogs on long nature walks.

Cake Smash Session
I have worked with Marianna twice for my maternity shoot and my son's cake smash. She has wide range of outfits and props to choose from. When I reached out to her again for my baby cake smash shoot, I am looking for something not so regular/traditional style, she took it as a challenge and come up with the idea of Pasta smash. She was very patient with me in answering all my questions and planned well for my baby session. We got very good photos that we can cherish forever and the great thing is she has included family portraits as well in her package. Overall she is a great photographer and easy to work with.
