Hi, I am Marianna Batkin.
I am Va Va Zoom Studio photographer and I specialize in capturing women of all ages, their families and newborn babies.
I truly believe that every woman is beautiful and deserves to be celebrated no matter the occasion, whether it is her pregnancy, arrival of a new baby or simply her want and need to feel sexy, confident and amazing.
I am a wife to a wonderful man and a mother of two adorable little boys. My family is my world and I would not have it any other way.
My background is in creative advertising & design and photography has always been a big part of my life. With 18 years of experience, I worked as graphic designer and art director for several agencies and even had my own successful graphic design and printing business. As far as direct photography background, I photographed commercial real estate projects and weddings, only discovering my passion for newborn photography after the birth of my son in 2015.
My newborn photography style is neutral with a pop of color. I love using subtle colors found in nature. For my maternity portraits I enjoy creating both neutrally inspired and colorful images for my clients. I offer both traditional maternity photography as well as boudoir maternity portraits and you are welcome to combine both styles in your session. I have a large collection of maternity gowns, dresses and outfits in my client wardrobe for you to choose from. I strive to keep my images fresh, clean and modern through my retouching process. Both color and artistic black & white conversions of images you purchase are always included in your final gallery.
Besides newborn photography, I specialize in maternity portraits, personal and family photography. I also will occasionally offer themed mini sessions for kids 6 months (sitters) to 4 years old and seasonal mini sessions for the whole family. I usually announce mini sessions on Instagram. Sign up to keep in the loop!
I work from my cozy studio space, centrally located in close proximity to HWY 1 in Coquitlam, BC. I do not offer outdoor sessions at this time.
